BOLD STEPS BUILDING PLANS
St. John congregation chose the acronym B.O.L.D. S.T.E.P.S. for the building plan theme:
Devoted (to God and his Word)
An effort has been ongoing since April of 2018 to get plans and provisions in place for a new campus that will allow our school and church to be in one building as well as address a number of current and future ministry needs.
Excel Engineering of Fond du Lac has been hired as the architect, and Catalyst Construction of Milwaukee is our builder. The land on Plum Road is already owned by the congregation. A site plan and floor plan have been developed with an approximate total building cost of $5,300,000. Links are available below to view these plans. As of October of 2022, over $1,500,000 was on hand and/or committed to the project, and a lender stood ready with up to $3,300,000. The Finance Committee continues its fundraising efforts while actual construction is underway.
We broke ground in May of 2022, began actual construction in October 2022, and have a dedication and occupancy goal of the beginning of the 2023-2024 school year. We ask everyone to keep this project in their prayers so that we can better serve the community's spiritual and educational needs for years to come. Please contact us using the links below if you would like to support the project through donations or labor during the building process.
